Brianna's First Birthday!

Good morning and Happy Birthday "Nama" (that's what I call Brianna)

I made sure I showed Brianna how to open her presents.

I helped mom bake and decorate this cake!

Brianna decided she likes cake almost as much as I do.

This is my cake-face. If you scroll back and look at my last birthdays, I'm making this same face while I enjoy my cake!

April Happenings

We have a sandbox now! It keeps us busy for hours.

My face met the back swing of a golf club...I wasn't very impressed. Luckily I didn't need stitches!

I smashed my ear as I was trying to come down from a rock climbing wall. It was a rough week for me!

Sledding Pro

I started by just sledding down Grandmom's driveway, but by the end of my visit, I was speeding down the road! Look at me go :)

Adventures at Grandmom's House

Brianna slept most of the trip, but she did have fun too.

I finally decided to get some shut-eye on the long drive to Faro.

Puppets!! I had been waiting months to play with Grandmom's puppets :)

I loved the snow and ice in the Yukon. I played hockey...

...climbed snow banks...

...shoveled snow...

...went sledding...

(sometimes Brianna fell asleep in the sled!)

When it was too cold to sled outside, we'd do it inside!

Sleds were our main mode of transportation.

We loved it!

Grandmom helped me build my first snowman!

We also kept busy inside: working out on the treadmill,

wrestling,

reading stories,

and just hanging out.


Auntie Sharon came to visit, too!

All that fun was exhausting. Brianna fell asleep in her lunch!

And when I got home, there was a cat waiting for me! His name is Buddy and I love giving him hugs.

The past few months

It snowed!! I decided I had better practice my sledding skills before I go to Grandma's house!

Brianna wasn't as excited about the snow as I was.

Meet Timmy--my new best friend. He's great. He always wants to do whatever I do and says just the right things :)

Brianna is also a great friend. We love to play together, although sometimes she's not as agreeable as Timmy ;)
